			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Welcome to our fifth grade blog page! Our year is passing faster every week.  We have about 16 Mondays left for this year.</p>
<p>Today we are working on Snowman Construction Company.  The students are drawing snowmen.  They have a list of materials with prices and weight.  The Snowman can only cost $25 and weigh only 50 pounds.  The Snowmen will be displayed out in the hall.</p>
<p>March 30 will be Open House Night.  The students will have work displayed in the hall for parents to see.</p>
<p>Reading TAKS takes place on Tuesday, March 3, 2009.</p>
<p>Math TAKS takes place  on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.</p>
<p>Science TAKS takes place on Thursday, April 30, 2009</p>
<p>We are preparing for all of these tests, in the classroom, in tutorials, and some students working at home.</p>
