Welcome to our fifth grade blog page! Our year is passing faster every week. We have about 16 Mondays left for this year.

Today we are working on Snowman Construction Company. The students are drawing snowmen. They have a list of materials with prices and weight. The Snowman can only cost $25 and weigh only 50 pounds. The Snowmen will be displayed out in the hall.

March 30 will be Open House Night. The students will have work displayed in the hall for parents to see.

Reading TAKS takes place on Tuesday, March 3, 2009.

Math TAKS takes place on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

Science TAKS takes place on Thursday, April 30, 2009

We are preparing for all of these tests, in the classroom, in tutorials, and some students working at home.

Or is there something you REALLY like?? Coordinates? Logic? Buzz? Too High/Too Low? Blackout? Poison Chips? Let me know…
